Midwest Junior Dragster Super Series Crowns Class Champions
Indianapolis, IN (Oct 13th, 2020) The Midwest Junior Dragster Series would make the trip to the Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis for their championship weekend presented by Allstar Performance. After capturing his first ever event victory back on August 31st at Crossroads Dragway, Ty Gortney was looking to close out the season with another victory and collect his first ever Quick 16 championship. Lead by dad Ryan, mom Angee and brother Lane he would qualify number one before bowing out in the semi-finals. Although the event win eluded him, Ty did reach his ultimate goal and clinch the 2020 Allstar Performance Quick 16 Class Championship. In the other Allstar Performance sponsored class, Tyler Wied would win the 2020 8.90 Index class championship. Congrats to both youngsters on your incredible seasons.
