Allstar Surface Guard Tape Clear 2in x 30ft ALL14275
Clear protective polyurethane tape can be applied directly over painted surfaces or decals to help prevent scratching, chipping or other damage. Use on wheel well openings, rocker panels, headlight decals, door edges or anywhere added protection may be required. Tape is 8 mil thick and provides excellent resistance to ultra violet light. Will not yellow over time.

Great tape
I've used this tape to protect the paint on several mountain bike frames. I prefer a dry application and if you take your time and get the section length right it's pretty easy to get it on clean with minimal bubbles. The tape does stretch a bit once it's off the backing paper, so cut the strips a little shorter than you need. Experiment with a small segment to start, pour yourself a cup of coffee, turn on some jazz and enjoy your moment of zen
